In-home Private Lessons
Pull Together K9 offers a customized approach to training for each dog, as every dog and their owner have different needs. We do not believe that one training style benefits everybody, and will work with you to create a plan that fits into your lifestyle in order to meet your training goals. Private training sessions are held in your home, neighborhood, or at a dog friendly public location.
Board and Train
We will resume scheduling Board & Train programs this fall
Looking to build up a foundation of good manners for your dog, or have skills be maintained while you are away on vacation? Your dog will become a member of our family for the duration of their stay and receive:
basic life skills (polite house manners, loose leash walking, impulse control, et cetera)
cooperative care for nail trims, bath time, vet visits, et cetera
formal obedience training
physical and mental enrichment through play and social outings
structured rest/quiet time to help promote the value of calm
This program also provides in-home follow up lessons to ensure for a successful transition of their new skills, with homework plans to help maintain their training at home. We limit the number of dogs taken at one time in order to ensure individualized attention is able to be given at all times, but we book up fast as a result so please contact us well in advanced if you are trying to combine a board and training option with a planned trip.
Group Classes
Group classes can provide you and your dog with a solid foundation to begin your training journey, or offer a new environment to practice old skills with distraction. Matt offers his group classes through Harmony Canine Training in Milwaukie, OR

Temperament Test
We believe that the AKC's Family Dog Program (STAR Puppy, CGC, Trick Titles and Virtual Home Manners) are fantastic benchmarks to see where your dog is at in their training. Certifications from this program can lead to several benefits such as discounts in insurance or landlord exemption from breed restrictions. The Canine Good Citizen test is the first step for many therapy dog programs. We have been an approved evaluator for the AKC since 2016, and provide testing for all titles in their program. These titles and certifications are open to ALL dogs, both purebred and mixed breeds.
